Architecture of residential complexes and flexible housing in Iran with emphasis on Adaptability

The inevitable impacts of new technologies, environmental and climate change, transformation of cultural relations, change of cultural structures in housing is evident, but in some cases the scope of these changes and changes cannot be ignored because otherwise the audience will not be responsive to these changes. Although the concept of flexibility is not over a few years, it has been seriously considered, but dealing with the concept of flexibility in housing and housing is one of the issues that can be considered in this article. This research is of the kind of applied and its method of research is qualitative, which has benefited from the research method of descriptive - analytic and collecting data based on documentary studies, literature review, resources, and analysis and used for explaining the topic in logical reasoning method. At the end, flexible design strategies have been proposed in housing planning and some solutions have been addressed in Iran.
