Site Selection crisis management support base by using AHP and GIS; (case study: the city of Shahr-e- Babak)

To reduce the city's vulnerability to crises such as earthquakes, floods and other natural disasters and abnormal only pay attention to the safety and strength of the building and construction engineering principles, is not enough. But also it is necessary for crisis management as one of the management levels urban affairs is entered. The location finds meaning in the framework of land use and in fact, is practical for Principles and scientific selection place for target land use, It is essential to taken an effective step in order to control and checkrein the crisis with the emphasis on the establishment and juxtaposition of urban land uses. Therefore, this study aimed at locating crisis management support base of Shahr-e Babak, to provide the optimal location pattern of crisis management support base. For this purpose have been invented advanced tools and techniques to become in the service more efficient of urban planning. Therefore, this study aimed at locating crisis management support base of Shahr-e Babak, to provide the optimal location pattern of crisis management support base using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for weighting criteria, overlay index (IO) to integrate layers and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In terms of target, this research is practical and research methodology is descriptive-analytical and experimental research. Criteria used include efficiency, adaptability, safety and environmental characteristics Shahr-e-Babak. General results of this research show that 16.9% of Shahr-e-Babak land include totally inappropriate land to build a crisis management support base, 41.17 % is poor appropriate, 18.6 % is with quality neutral, 21.2 % is comparatively appropriate and 1.6 % of the land allocated to totally appropriate. Also suggested map locating also said Babak crisis management support base and the necessary land use the adjacent in Suggestion land use map.
