Results showed a significant positive relationship between unsafe attachment style and sexual function, a significant negative relationship between safe attachment style and sexual function, a significant negative relationship between self-differentiation and sexual function and also a significant positive relationship between education and sexual function. Regression analysis results, using a step-by-step method, showed that predictive variables can predict the sexual function. These results indicated that attachment styles, self-differentiation and education have significant effects on sexual function. These findings confirmed the need to concentrate on relational and psychological factors in women’s experience of sex. Thus, attention to these variables in prevention, pathology, counseling, and treatment programs is necessary.
