Information is the core of each scientific activity and the rational behavior which also has the power to influence on decisions and reduce uncertainty, and in different fields of application, it has different values. One of the areas that information has been widely used is the field of politics, military science and security. In these domains, the value of information is sometimes different in comparison with their role in scientific and research fields. For example, in the scientific field, the value of information is distribution and dissemination, while in the political and security fields the value of information is to keep them isolated. Therefore, the success of information-related behavior in various fields requires understanding the theoretical foundations and the viewpoints on information, also the prospects and the methods available to them, which are the subject of the book this article regards. The book is a collection of articles translated from various authors, which is not coordinated and coherent due to the lack of proper arrangement of chapters. Another important issue is the use of other sources without reference in the first chapter. In general, the book is a valuable work for its type of publishing, cataloging, and selecting a topic that can be used by scholars and graduate students to study.
