Model requirements for record systems

Maintenance and management of archival documents and records is one of the main concerns of experts and information experts. In past decade, several programs have been designed and implemented in advanced countries to control and manage the increasing growth of electronic resources. MoReq is the standard of maintaining and managing records archives, which its 2010 editing has been released for free. And the book is the translation of this edition. There is a lot of precise in the book’s translation, and from the language sense, it is totally clear and neat translation; the only problem is the combination of multiple words related to technology that makes text difficult to read. In some cases, translators have chosen other equivalents for words that are well-established, and the use of common words could be more useful. One of the eaknesses of the book is the lack of the English equivalents in the footnote, which made them difficult to understand. Separating the chapters of the book, and the absence of a white page between chapters, adds another difficulty to aware of interval between chapters. To familiarize with these standards, it is suggested to prepare guidance books instead of a full translated version of these texts, in order to allow the use of software on the basis of these standards.
