THE EFFECT OF PERIPHERAL HEART ACTION ON BODY COMPOSITION AND BLOOD PRESSURE IN PEOPLE WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
Exercising is an effective and low-risk treatment for people with hypertension. Based on the aim of this study, we evaluated the effect of Peripheral heart action on body composition and blood pressure in people with high blood pressure.
In this study, 23 men with body mass index of 23-28 and the age range of 38-43 with high blood pressure were randomly selected. Twelve of them were practised by Peripheral heart action training for 36 sessions. Also, 11 people were selected as control group. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure, skinfold, and one-repetition maximum (1RM) test before and after 36 sessions were measured. Descriptive statistical methods and t-correlation were used for data analysis.
