The position of the police in the stage of crime prevention in Iran's criminal law

Crime prevention is one of the important issues of criminology. The concept of crime prevention is referred to as the criminology of prevention. This branch of criminology is among the operational and executive branches of criminology. Although we see preventive measures and related measures from a long time ago, we can say that for decades, crime prevention has been attended by many progressive countries. Those countries have found that a major fight against crime, except through effective action to prevent crime, is not possible. It should be kept in mind that crime prevention is generally carried out by government officials and authorities, but in any case successful and effective crime prevention is subject to the participation of non-state actors and institutions, in particular the full participation of citizens.
