Improving and Validating the Change Climate Development Scale through a Strategic Approach

The goal of this study was to improve and validate the change climate development scale through a strategic approach. Study population consisted of the entire managers of Shiraz University (138 people) in the academic year 2015 - 2016, among whom 103 individuals were selected using simple random sampling method and completed the mentioned scale. After scanning the apparent validity, item analysis method was used to verify the structural validity and the obtained results indicated scale’s high validity. In order to examine the factor structure of the change climate development at the University, first and second step confirmatory factor analysis was also used. The results showed that each of ten factors of change climate development at the University had a high validity to explain the change climate development. Results of Cronbach alpha showed that the reliability of this scale was high, as well.
