Abstract:
Objective
The aim of this study is to predict life satisfaction of parents of children with autism: With self-compassion intermediary.
Method
This research is descriptive and correlational. Statistical sample of present study consisted of all parents of autistic children admitted to the center Omid-Asr in 2016, which is 48- parents of the children 4-12 year-old , 38 mothers and 10 fathers accessible for sampling were selected as a sample group. The measure of life satisfaction Diener and self-compassion Neff questionnaires was used.
Results
Data analysis showed that the hypothesis 0/95 level of confidence is significant.
Discussion
Therefore is self-compassion predictor of life satisfaction for parents of autistic children
