A critical survey on the theory of Tajalli in Bahai Faith

In accordance with the teachings of the Bahai Faith, universe is composed of three stages: the universe of right, the universe of affair and the universe of creation. The purpose of the universe of right is God. God in his universe is the divine hidden being and has nothing to do with the other universe because of his transcendental being. According to the theory of Tajalli, we need an intermediate to compensate the being of God in other universes. This intermediate is called the symbol of affair and crystallized in Major Prophets like Abraham, Jesus, Muhammad, and _according to Bahai faith_ Bahaullah. The theory of Tajalli leads finally to unity with god. These outcomes are rejected in Islamic philosophy.This paper is an attempt to analyze the elements and outcomes of the theory of Tajalli and finally to prove that this theory is void and wrong. The authors have used the ideas of Islamic theologians, philosophers and mystics during this work
