Abstract:
In today's modern turbines, temperature of the first row of blades, which are said the hot zone of turbine, has been boosted up to1000℃. These blades should be work for long periods. Since the main reason of fraction the pieces which are being used at high temperature and cyclic load are fatigue and creep, estimating the precise life time of these pieces is vital, whether by numerical methods or experiments. There are a couple of models for estimating the life time of work piece in interaction of creep and fatigue. In this paper, the creep and fatigue of first line of Tri60 turbofan blades has been investigated. In order to estimating the creep and fatigue life of motor turbine, initially, the analyses of blade's thermal stress and heat transfer have been conducted by Abaqus software Afterwards, the life time of blades has been done by Smith-Watson-Taper algorithm in fe-safe software. Fatigue analyze based on transient modal analysis has been also studied which leads to deriving destructive natural frequency. Finally, by using corrected Godman equations, Maro and Larson Miler the validity of blade's fatigue and creep have been investigated respectively.
