Human rights situation of Bahraini women (Reviewing the performance of its government)

Respect for human rights is one of the main principles of government. Unfortunately, in spite of the emphasis of human rights institutions on democracy and equality of women and men, many arabic countries are considered as serious violators of women’s rights. Bahrain has deprived women from human rights by establishment of discriminatory laws. On the other hand, revolutionary movements to protest the crimes against humanity in the Bahraini political system involved women. According to the conditions of women in Bahrain and tyranny and oppression of al-Khalifa, the author examined the Situation of Women in Arab Sheiked Governments and then has paid attention to human disasters and violations of women’s rights in Bahrain, as a clear example of crime against humanity. Finally, we will review the duty of the international community and the level of response to these violent acts.
