Tariqat al-Adab composed by Mohammad Hosain pen-named Bidar-e Tabrizi, is a book written in Nastaliq calligraphy by Najafqoli Hashtroudi known as Sheykh al-Kottab in 1351 AH or 1311 SH lithographed in Tabriz. The work is apparently selected from Collection of Bidar-e Tabrizis Shir-o Shekar that is presumably composed during 1280 to 1310AH. This work is arranged in twelve chapters which are chiefly about didactic, moral and social traditions of the age. The book is written in simple prose and popular style. There are verses in Gazal and short Mathnavi with religious, moral and social themes. Tariqat al-Adab generally is among the didactic and advice books and has a personal folkloric style. This paper answers the questions that the book is about what basic and fundamental themes, which style and what is the composers writing method.
