Representation of the crisis in the family in the drawings of children aged 7-12

Access to the private sphere of the Iranian family is not possible for an investigator to be informed about events within the family system, including the subject of this study, the disagreements and conflicts among family members; therefore, they have gone to children to find out the differences and family conflicts. The painting method was used in conjunction with the dialogue. Finally, 30 paintings from 7 to 12 years old children were compiled. Analysis of the paintings and interviews between the researcher and the child showed that the child's perception of the conflict included categories of childhood conflict inappropriateness, recurrence of conflict, uncontrolled conflict, Hope for reconciliation, breadth and breadth; also consumerism, mother tongue, leisure time, partying, low home area, male vagabond, different attitudes toward money management, repeat cooking, father addiction and value conflict in management The body was introduced as a cause of conflict among children. From the perspective of children, parental conflicts are inconspicuous and only result in negative outcomes. The strategies children adopt against conflicts are often passive and responses such as crying, going home, confinement, isolation or social abandonment, anxiety and discomfort, fear, persistence of discomfort, imagination Weaving and so on.
