The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Happiness in Students of Kashan University

Aim and Intelligence is considered as one of the basic characteristics that causes individual differences between individuals. In addition to the cognitive aspects of intelligence, non-cognitive aspects such as emotional intelligence are influential in the success of individuals. Positive attitude and happiness will also make people happy and successful. . Therefore, in this article, we study the relationship between emotional intelligence and happiness in students of Kashan University.
The type of research is applied from the point of view of purpose and descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the research is the students of Kashan University. The samples were randomly selected in 351 individuals. For collecting information, the Bar-Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire was used with 30 items in three components (emotional self-awareness, problem solving, independence, optimism and accountability) and a-item Happiness Questionnaire.
Findings: Data analysis was done in descriptive and inferential sections using SPSS software. Findings showed that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence of individuals and happiness. The level of emotional intelligence of individuals is higher than the more optimistic and wider issues.
According to the results, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the relationships of individuals, so that they can experience a happy environment together. Develop problem-solving skills, express feelings and accountability in the person.
