Emerging of new communicational technologies and conceivability of communicational narrations of the Age of Presence

Message:
Abstract:
The present writing is trying to analyze the communicational narrations of the Age of Presence using an analytic-semantic approach. Having reviewed different viewpoints regarding the common technologies used during the Age of Presence, we can conclude that, although it is possible to have miraculous or extraordinary way of communication during the Age of Presence, it seems that, based on the Allah’s tradition which is handling worldly affairs through natural means, these narrations are trying to illustrate the natural aspect of communication used during the Age of Presence. In the current age of technology, we have and are experiencing a glimpse of such ways of communications. It may be based on this conclusion that some of the contemporary scholars have tried to interpret those narrations as the result of astonishing pace of technological advancements rather than a kind of miraculous or supernatural quality of the communications of the Age of Presence. Hence, we can claim that the more the communication technology develops, the more conceivable the communicational narrations of the Age of Presence will become.
