A scientometrics Study of the middle Eastern countries in the geopolotics of information

Aim: The aim of this research is to study the Middle Eastern countries station and the determination of powerful information, dependent states and buffer states countries, based on scientific production and scientific cooperation in the geopolitics of information. This research is an applied and scientometrics applied objective that has been done by documentary methods and content analysis. The research community is a study of the 16 Middle Eastern countries based on the quartile of scientific production and regional and trans-regional scientific cooperation ,2008-2017. Data is extracted from the scopus, the world bank and the palestine center for statistics databases, and Excel and SPSS software has been used for data analysis.
Findings: According to the findings, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Egypt, respectively, are in the first to fourth States in the Middle Eastern Geopolitics of information, and by allocating more than 75% of the quartile (Q3), the indicators are among the most powerful information countries. The countries of, Israel, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, and Palestine respectively, States fifth to twelfth in the Middle Eastern, and make up 25 to 50 percent of the quartile (Q2) indicators of the dependent countries. And the four countries of Lebanon, Bahrain, Yemen and Syria, ranked thirteenth to sixteenths of the Middle Eastern's geopolitics of information, and with 25 percent of the quartile (Q1), the indicators form Middle Eastern buffer states countries. .
