Shahid Motahhari`s View on I`tibari-Based Ethics Seyyed

Explanation of i`tibariat, conventional issues, and their consequences are of the subjects referred to and studied in detail by the late Kompani and Allameh Tabataba`I respectively. With regard to the notable effects of the subject in such fields as fiqh, usuli fiqh, kalam and ethics, it is necessary for it to be studid. In the paper, it has been intended to study the effects of i`tibariat in ethical foundations with an emphasis on Shahid Motahhari`s view. Shahid Motahhari has studied two problems of the field more: one, basing proofs on ethical and conventional concepts and statements in true sciences, olume haqiqi, and the other, relativity of ethics. He does not agree with the former and, explaining the elwi I and the sefli I, argues against the latter and introduces a new solution. While, Allameh Tabataba`i in Amizan has taken another solution against ethical relativity; he does not meet the objections that Motahhri meets
