A Deep Study on the Training Function of a Hidden Annunciation and a Concealed Warning in the 160TH Verse of the Holy Surah An’nm

Making clear the Quranic annunciation and warning is very important from the training point of view; because annunciation to receive awards plays a great role in encouraging the human beings to do good deeds. It is also the warning to bad results of evil deeds. God has assured man– in the 160th verse of the surah An’am- to reward man’s good deeds ten times more; while he has said that he will punish him for his bad deeds only as he did. The commentaries have noticed this annunciation from the beginning; but paying attention to this holy verse reveals two other important training facts which the commentators have neglected them. This article– that was done in a descriptive- annalistic method- paid especial attention to these two facts explaining a warning to the right doers, and an announcement to the sinners with paying attention to the two phrases: Comes with a good deed and brings an evil deed. It concluded that a warning to the righteous and still a more delicate annunciation to the wrong doers is understood from the two phrases: Comes with a good deed and brings an evil deed by pointing to ruining deeds and remitting factors. And so those two phrases prevent the right doers from being proud and encourage them to avoid ruining deeds; and provoke the sinners to regret and increase their hope to God's embracing Grace.
