Reviwe of the Social Crisis on Salafism Movement in Egypt and its Challenges (New approaches to Islamic movements)
Salafia movement is one of the known and mayhem Islamic movements in the Muslim world that over the last hundred years was stimulus and source of social and political movements in many Islamic countries. This study by documentary approach while paying attention to the necessity of using sociological approaches in the analysis of historical phenomena, especially contemporary Islamic movements and the importance of its subject, knows a series of social crises the main reason for the rise of Salafist movement in Muslim communities and in the case study of Egypt. The results show, according to Hrair Dekmejian and Khorshid Ahmad, complex crises that had a major role in the rise of Salafi in Egypt were as follows: Identity crisis, under the influence of the West culture, A crisis of legitimacy because of the inefficiency of the elite and the gap between the leaders and the people more than before and
detention of dissidents, The Cultural crisis that was exacerbated by the abolition of the caliphate led to the diminishing of traditional values, The economic crisis and class conflict that was as a result of unequal and unfair distribution of wealth and lead to economic chaos and the development of capitalism, And ultimately defeat of the foreign ideologies such as nationalism, socialism and liberalism and the effects of the Islamic Revolution, and Etc.
