Abstract:
Media management in the Family: Study of Tehranian Moders's Experiments facing with satellite's Channels The main objective of this article is investigate interactive method or interaction satellite's channels confronting in family by Tehranian mothers to keep children from being exposed to unconventional content. The central assumption of the paper is that Tehranian families adopt various mechanisms according to social and educational class differences. To investigate the problem, four poor and prosperous regions of Tehran were selected. The statistical population of the study include 80 families in 4 neighborhoods of Tehran who used satellite chanels. The family's had been interview as open and deeply. The results shown that Tehranian families usees objective and subjective limiter methods, as well as encouraging methods. These methods have been influenced by the class positions of individuals, types of social and cultural capital of individuals. It can also argue that with higher educational level and economic class, using of intensive and subjective methods are increased.
