The effect of relationship skills training problem solving religious approach on marital satisfaction of women applying divorce

The aim of present research was study the effect of relationship skills training and problem solving based on religious approach on marital satisfaction of women referred clinic center in Ahwaz city. The research method was semi experimental with pre, post, fallow-and control group. The sample consisted of 30 women who were matched from age, educational status, duration of marriage, acquiring on standard deviation bellow the mean in marital satisfaction and other criteria considered in this research. Then randomly divided into two groups as experimental and control. The experimental group administered 8 sessions of relationship skills training and problem solving based on religious approach but the control group didn’t receive any intervention. The instrument was marital satisfaction and Enrich questionnaire. The results indicated that there was a significant difference between experimental and control group in marital satisfaction (p<0.001). The rate of marital satisfaction in experimental group significantly increased in comparison with pre test and control group. These results significantly persisted after fallow-up period.
