Human forces and their education are the axis of development of the country in different fields, and academic motivation is the driving engine of learning in humans. For changing the behavior of learners, the factors related to motivation and their effect must be identified. In contrast, academic failure is one of the major problems of educational systems in the world today, and each year, large amounts of financial resources and human, educational and educational forces are dedicated to this problem. The present study, conducted through a library-based review, aimed at providing suggestions for stimulating and maintaining interest in learning of students, besides investigating the causes and factors that can affect students' academic failure.
