Investigating the Supply Chain Agile Strategies on Improvement of Performance of Food and Beverage Industries of Shiraz

Today, delivering the best performance has become the most important concern of production company executives, and they are trying to achieve superior performance by utilizing various techniques. One of the requirements of a manufacturing company is the adoption of a kind of supply chain strategy called “agile supply chain strategy”. The aim of the present study is to Study the impacts of agile strategies on improvement of corporate performance (case study: shiraz city). The present research, the purpose of the application in terms of and descriptive-analytical research method using questionnaires and survey data has been collected. The population of the study are managers and experts food and beverage company city is shiraz and simple random sampling method used and accepted 178 samples were collected. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling in Lisrel. In order to test the hypothesis to determine the extent and severity of agile supply chain strategies to improve the performance of manufacturing firms, structural equation modeling was used. Our Findings show that the application and implementation of agile supply chain strategies improves the performance of manufacturing firms. Companies using agile strategy can meet the consumption needs of the members’ ability Supply chain to respond by managing the flow of goods, information or any other resource such as energy or humans between the place of production or the place of inventory up to the point of consumption or the point needed to.
