Impact of virtual social networks on the lifestyle of the fourth generation

Social networks are one of the most popular social media platforms that has many audiences, especially young people and teenagers. Interactive features and planning to create of social relationships are one of the reasons of gravitation to virtual social networking. The purpose of this article is to investigate the impact of virtual social networks (Telegram, Instagram and Twitter) on the lifestyle of the fourth generation or eighties.The research method in this research is using the technique of survey with the positivist approach. The statistical population is the second high school students in Tehran and the three regions of 1, 7 and 16 were selected as sample areas. The sample size was 380 people based on Cochran formula and it selected by multi-stage random cluster sampling. Findings indicate that there is a direct correlation between the using rate and type of virtual social networks with lifestyle and its dimensions, in such a way that the increasing use of social networks, increases the tendency to modern lifestyles. Also, with getting away from the traditional lifestyle, social trust has diminished, but cultural capital has grown
