The Shia Geopolitics in the teachings of Imam Baqir and Imam Sadiq (A.S) for the Occultation Era

Based on SWOT approach the present paper will analyze political strategies introduced by Imam Baqir and Imam Sadiq (A.S) in preparation of Islamic society for the Occultation era. First, political environment in Islamic (Shi'ite) society will be analyzed by means of SWOT analysis. Therefore, establishment of scientific School, spread of Shia diaspora and cultural situation of Shia society are the (Strengths), poor Shia economy, socio-political yoke over Shias, emergence of Shia denominations and Zaid and Yahya revolts are the (Weaknesses), political challenges between Umayah and Abbasids rullers, advent of Abbasids and revoking the ban over Hadith’s Narration as (Opportunies) and finally spread of fabricated Hadiths, political movements of the time and the malfunctions of transient governments are the (Threats). based on Weakness-Opportunity analysis compromising, supplication and waiting for the reappearance strategies are presented while based on Strength-Opportunity analysis perfection in religious training, strategies of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of faqih) government, Tawalli (friendship for Ahl al-Bayt(a)) and maintaining Ashura are the presented strategies.
