Research & Development in "Health Communication": A Meta Analysis

Health Communication" is new phenomenon in Iran, comparing to other countries especially in North-West. Using Meta Analysis (Scientometrics Approach) as a research method, the purpose of this study was to review over the past trends of Reteach & Practice in the area of Health Communication. The population of this study was all scientific documents (Articles, Conference papers, Review, etc) indexed in Scopus databases from 1996 until November 2017. With focus on the new emerging countries in the area of "Health Communication", the result of the study can be used as fruitful guidelines for the further researches and studies of this phenomenon in Iran. The most important finding of this study was the way in which Iran also can be considered as a leading country in the region in the are of Health Communication. Like all other new emerging countries such as Malaysia, India, South Africa, South Korea, and etc, there is a need for establishing international networks of scholars and researchers to conduct research and share their finding with other counterparts across the world
