Predicted the Map of Traffic Noise in Golestan National Park Road Based on CORTN Model

Abstract:
preserving the environment in the first place need to assess or predict noise to determine the status of acoustic emission in the environment. Traffic noise prediction models are very useful in this regard and could be decision system.In this study for prediction of road traffic noise level in the Golestan National Park CORTN statistical model was used. The sampling stations were selected using Systematic-Random method. In each of the sampling points, variables such as road gradient, number and speed of each category of vehicles (light, heavy and medium-weight vehicles) and the proportion of heavy vehicles to the total traffic load were measured for 10 minutes. The collected data were test using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Finally the prediction model was evaluated based on the number of point measured and statistical analysis. The model with an error probability (6 dB) and correlation (76 percent) was used to prepare the map of noise level in this road. The results show that based on CORTN prediction model, level of noise in the Golestan National Park road is about 67.59- 86.04 dB. Based on noise zoning map, the Golestan road in some zones is faced with noise pollution. The results of this research are used to identify hot spots of noise pollution for species conservation that have a strong impact on reducing species diversity.
