The role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in reducing Administrative & Financial Corruption

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the reduction of administrative & financial corruption in the branches of Mellat bank in Ahvaz. According to the total population, was selected a random classified sample, by Cohen, Morgan, & Krejcie (1970), 214 employees of the branches of Mellat bank in Ahvaz and was based on data collection. Data collected through questionnaires that have acceptable reliability and validity. The results of data analysis using structural equation by LISREL software, Showed that Application of information and communication technology (ICT) has significant influence on the reduction of administrative and financial corruption. In the meantime, two indicators; using of computer and banks software, led to a significant reduction of administrative and financial corruption. While the use of the Internet and global communications services did not have a significant effect on the reduction of corruption, there was even a positive relationship between these two variables.
