Support for Women Workers in the Context of Decent Work: the Iran Law and the India Law

Women workers as one of the most protected social groups can be exposed to various harmful. For this reason, specific support has been provided to them in various international documents, including Human rights treaties and the International Labor Organization. Equality between women and men worker is a fundamental principle that must be respected in all legal systems. In domestic law, labor law, constitution and documents have recognized suitable support for women workers. One of the new issues of the International Labor Organization is the concept of “decent work” . The ILO pursues the plans and objectives of decent work in different countries. India is one of those countries that will implement a comprehensive program for decent work. In this article, we compare the status of supporting women workers in the rights of India and Iran in terms of decent work.
