An analysis on the process of social and political forming of Vahid Afrakhteh personality

This paper reviews the life of Vahid Afrakhteh and the changes he had from an isolated calm religious teenager to a complete Marxist guerrilla and also mentions his cooperation with SAVAK. In this research SAVAK documents and his confessions are used. After being arrested he explains all the aspects of his personality and the conditions governing him. Then, he explains his activities and reasons he had for doing them. This piece of writing is actually a case study on a member of Mujahedin Khalq Organization. However, it should be noted the conclusions here can be generalized to all members but it can reveal some aspects of this phenomenon.
