Factors Affecting Food Price Index in Iran

Factors Affecting Food Price Index in Iran According to the of Nutrition in Economic Development, Food topics, Especially in the Developing Countries, are of Utmost Importance. One of the Most Important Determinants of Food Demand is the Food Prices. The Aim of This Study is the Most Important Determinant of Economic Factors of the Food Price Index in Iran Using the Latest Information Published in 2016. For this Purpose, Using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Method and Time Series Data for the Years 1983-2014 has Been Estimated Desired Pattern. Based on the Results, the Variable of Gross Investment, Trade Openness and Real Exchange Rate in the Short and Long Term had a Negative Impact and Liquidity and GDP Variables had a Positive Impact on the Food Price Index.
