Qaysar Aminpoor’s Devotions’ Being Influenced By Sahifa Sajjadiya

Imam Sajjad’s Sahifa, as one of the most invaluable prayer and educational texts in Islam, is the inspirational source for many poets and writers. One of them is Qaysar Aminpoor, the famous contemporary poet. Both in describing some of the divine topics and in defining the wisdom, education and the like, Qaysar has borrowed from Sahifa. Some examples of his being influenced by the language, culture, and themes of that great work can be searched in more than ten collections of his poems. The present inquiry is studying the influence of Sahifa Sajjadiya on Qaysar’s devotions and some other poems. With this in mind, Imam Sajjad’s prayers and devotions have been studied and their influence on Qaysar’s poems has been clarified.
