Mapping the Future of Civilization; New Islamic Civilization Dimensions and the Road Map for its Implementation, and Stabilization

Thecivilization of each nation is rooted, first and foremost, in the culture of its people and followers. The original Islamic civilization is a human-oriented civilization based on religion and spirituality. Compared to material and natural factors, the human factor (i.e. the believers in Islam and its principles) have the most important role in the emergence, survival, and promotion of this civilization. Therefore, identifying the most important characteristics of the citizens of the Islamic utopia, as described by Quran and Hadith, can help us understand dimensions and the structure of the Islamic civilization and society and its principal differences from the secular, human-oriented, and liberalist western civilization. The four values of vision (worldview and divine beliefs), knowledge (wisdom), practice (strive and effort), and attitude (adherence to values and ethics) are the chief cultural characteristics of civilized Muslims, and consequently, the primary principles of the Islamic civilization. The strength of these values once bestowed the Madina-al-Nabi, Alavi community, and five centuries of political and social sovereignty to Muslims while their weakness led to the downfall of the said glory and power. However, their revival and enhancement in every citizen of the Islamic world is about to bring stability, strength, and exaltation to the new Islamic civilization.
