Globalization and its Effects on the State

Globalization is a natural phenomenon that took place seriously after the second world war and through the emergence and development of international organizations such as the United Nations, the decolonization and role of the newly independent states, the development of the global economy and communication, and the emergence of new international actors, such as transnational corporations and nongovernmental organizations. This phenomenon, which has gradually grown, has affected a number of areas, including economics, culture, politics and law. The process of globalization, which aimed to reduce national boundaries and harmonization of national rules, concepts and institutions, has significant implications for states, including the limitation of sovereignty, the strengthening of good governance, the growing role of non-state actors and the emergence of common international concepts. This paper intends to investigate the implications, characteristics and dimensions of globalization, and its implications for the state.
