Formation of Political Threats of Islamic Civilization: Case Study of Martyr Seyed Mohammad Bagher Sadr

Abstract:
Understanding the threats facing Islamic civilization is essential to protect and preserve the achievements of this civilization and to determine the factors of its survival, and various scholars such as martyr Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Sadr has engaged to address this significant issue. The present paper uses the analytical-descriptive method to examine the political threats of Islamic civilization from the viewpoint of Martyr Sadr. The results showed that, according to Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Sadr, the relationship between culture, religion and knowledge affects the dynamics of civilization; also, unconditional freedom, injustice, the collapse of the relationship between the Imam and the Ummah, undermining social ties, deviation from Islamic principles, undermining the Islamic government, and disregarding the collective interests are the threats of Islamic civilization.
