Survey on Imperative Strategies for Iranian's Higher Education System in Globalization Age

Globalization concept refers to world compression, ever-increasing consciousness about world as a whole, world’s mutual and real inter-dependency and integrating it. The main purpose of this research is to identification and present needed strategies for Iran’s higher education system in globalization era. Research method is descriptive- analytic that analysis the experts viewpoints and documents of the Iran’s higher education system. Research results indicated that higher education system for properly reacting to globalization transformations need to exercises four strategies. These strategies include: qualitative improvement along the quantitative expansion; diversification the funding resources; research commercialization and completion the science, technology and wealth chain; increase the scientific and university transactions in international level. Furthermore, this study recommends the solutions for implementing strategies one by one.
