Attribution of a poem by Kamalodin Ismaiel to Farkhari in DowlatShah Samarghandi’s Poets’ biography (TazkeratolShoara)

One of the most important collections is investigated based on different ideas in the view that some poems are wrongly attributed to the other poets in some of them which causes that may researchers in literature history to view these collections cautiously and don’t rely on what is attributed to the poets of these collections. However this criticism can, to some extent, hold for majority of the collections and it is necessary to view these collections poems attribution cautiously, it is not possible to overlook some valuable attributions in these collections about the unknown and famous poets because investigating some of these attributions, provided that they are correlated with other reliable resources, can sometimes help identifying the true poetry type in poetry studying as a result of which all resources and even reliable biographies would be obsolete about an attribution. In this research, the author attempts to use two ancient collections and the Kamalodin Ismaiel’s collection and indicated that a poem in his collection is wrongly attributed to Farkhari, the fifth century poet, in Dowlatshah’s biography book. This error is extended to other biography books and contemporary resources, too.
