The analysis of the formation and expansion of telegraphoffices in Lorestan in the Nasserid era

The time of Nasser al-din shah using western technical and technological methods were of importance to Shah himself, his political, cultural and economic servants. One of these tools was the telegraph and their specific buildings telegraph office this led to the creation of a new kind of historical evidence, that of telegraphic evidence. This kind of evidence opened a new possibility to historical investigations that includes documenting and recording local reports with new ways of communication. The present research has been based on a reliance on historical evidence andtextual documents with a definitional- analytical approach which seeks to answer the process of establishing and expansion of telegraph in Lorestan of Nasserid era. And also to shed light on its expansion and influence on Nasserid political focus. The finding show that Lorestan with its mountainous features and with its tribal residence remained one of the most unstable regions in the Nasserid era and the reach of control from the central power remained rather limited and proved to be unstable. This region remained however an important link between Tehran and Khuzestan and a more important circle of influence for creating relationships and influencing the western regions of Iran. Under these circumstances, the expansion and the development of these telegraph lines,Could play an important role in helping the central power to improve its reach for safety and also for controlling remote regions. In addition the telegraph has helped shaped the tripand the oral culture of Lorestan and has provided us with an important source for crucial historic evidence that should not be underestimated.
