The role of informing the mass media of sailing competitions in the city of Maragheh on the development of this field

The purpose of this research was to The role of informing the mass media of sailing competitions in the city of Maragheh on the development of this field. this study was cross-sectional. The study population consisted of experts department Youth and Sports, managers physical education different areas of the municipality, municipalities, teachers of physical education and all coaches, supervisors and officials participating in the 21st national championship canoe competition that their were numbers 108. according to limited staticals population, research sample was used to population census method. for collect information were used from researchers questionnaire to collect information. the validity of this questionnaire was verified by 5 supervised professors and their reliability was obtained by Cronbach's alpha of 0/82. for data analysis, were used from the pearson correlation coefficient, Single-variable regression and Friedman test in SPSS software. the results showed that there is a significant relevecy between role of informing the mass media of sailing races in the city of Maragheh on the development of this field and mass media can be forecasts 36 percent of changes in the course of sailing.also the findings showed that there is a significant difference between the prioritization of components of mass media and prioritization of mass media types from the point of view of experts and specialists. the overall conclusion is that the role of mass media information can be used as a powerful tool for the development of sailing.
