Spatial Analysis of Gender Poverty in Urban Spaces (Case study: Ghaemshahr City)

The adoption of a gender approach in urban planning and urban management is inevitable to eliminate poverty and gender inequality. The purpose of this research is to analyze the spatial distribution of indicators of gender Poverty in the level of statistical blocks of ghaemshahr city. The present research is applied in terms purpose and is descriptive - analytic in terms method. The data of the theoretical foundations of research have been prepared in the library and documentary method and the raw data of the research is extracted from the statistical blocks of the ghaemshahr city, which has been prepared based on the census of 2011 as the center of statistics of iran. For unscaling the indicators of gender poverty has been used Fuzzy method in the Excel software. For spatial analysis of gender poverty have been used of methods of hot spots, Moran spatial autocorrelation, central feature, standard deviational ellipse and mean center in Arc Gis software environment. The results of the moran model show that urban poverty in both groups of men and women in the city of ghaemshahr city has cluster distribution pattern and spatial autocorrelation. Also, according to the zoning of the men's group, 54/64 percent of the population of men's and 52.94 percent of the women's population of ghaemshahr city are poor and very poor and also in both groups of men and women are observed the highest rates of poverty in neighborhoods 5, 7, 12, 16 and 19. Also is specified based on the models of the central feature, standard deviational ellipse and mean center that the mean center and the center of gravity of the combined poverty index are in side of the central feature in both groups of men and women and is has the direction of distribution southwest - northeast.
