Analysis of the quality of immigrants life in dormitory villages and their role in urban economics, Case study: Central part, Urmia city

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of quality of immigrants life in dormitory villages in urban economics. Research type is applied and research method is descriptive-analytical method and for data gathering have been used the documentary, library and field studies. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Spearman correlation and regression tests). The statistical population is Ghezel Asheg villages, Alwach in the rural district of Rowze Chay and Gog Tape village in the northwestern rural district of Barandoz Chay of Urmia city. According to the census of 1395, there are 17081 people and 4472 households that based on the Cochran formula, 282 households were selected to conduct research. In the selection of households, a targeted qualitative method (snowball) has been used and the households were chosen that they go to the city every day. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the individual characteristics of the population of dormitory villages and false urban occupations and between the income level of immigrants and their life quality in dormitory villages. Also, the quality of life index has different effects on the economy of Urmia city. So the increase in life quality and the improvement of the living conditions of immigrants led to an increase in employment in various businesses, such as handicrafts, selling cigarettes, real estate firms, car dealerships, retail and so on, and increased jobs cause to increase the income of immigrants and, consequently, investing in the city (buying and renting houses, shops, industries, manufacturing workshops, etc.) and increasing the amount of production and improvement of urban services to urban residents.
