The Impact of International Marketing on Iran’s carpet exports

The carpet industry is one of the important non-oil exports which Iran can have a better presence on the world markets, because it has a comparative advantage in its production. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of marketing on export performance. The statistical population of the research includes all managers of carpet exporter companies in the country, whose number in 2015, according to a query from the Statistical Section of the carpet association, is 363 and the sample size is 190. The purpose of the research is applied research. In terms of data collection, it is a descriptive-survey research type and a survey tool is a questionnaire distributed among sample members. The relationship between research variables has been examined through path analysis Using the LASERL software the results of the analysis indicate that three main hypotheses of the research have been confirmed in total. International strategy, marketing compatibility and export orientation on carpet export performance in Iran have a significant effect.
