A study on the Return with emphasis on Shaikhi, Baha'i and Ahmad Esmaeil Basri deviations

The Return refers to the coming back of some of the dead to their former bodies at the time of the advent of Imam Mahdi (AS). During the time, the Shiites have been identified with this creed, and it has been one of the distinctions of the Imamis with Sunni and Shiite sects such as Zaidi. There is a lot of proof about the Return and its characteristics, and some of the Ahl ul-Bayt's followers like Fazl ibn Shazan have written two books in this regard. Nevertheless, the concepts related to the Return are distorted over time, and we can observe distortions of the Return characteristics among the false claimants and deviant sects. Among these sects, Shaykhis, Baha'is and Ahmad Ismail al-Basri can be mentioned. Sheikh Ahmad Ahsayi has changed the term "Return" and interpreted it as coming back of some people at the end of Imam Mahdi (AS) reign and regarded it as the world of hurqalia. Baha'is also have changed the meaning of Return, and considered it as returning characteristics and similarities. On the other side, Ahmad Esma'il Basri, following the Shaikhis and Baha'is, accepted the two mentioned concepts of Return and consider it after the death of the 24th Upriser.The tendency of some believers and seminary scholars to these divert teachings and the necessity of collecting problems of these sects and presenting a new response and new documentaries, made the writer to examine this issue with a descriptive-analytical and critical approach.</p><p>The result of the research is that the mentioned interpretations are unconfirmed and without reason, contrary to the narrations and based on the personal exegeses.
