Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between creativity with obsessive beliefs and rumination in female students of second cycle of secondary school Rasht District 2 was performed.
Method
The study population included all girl students of secondary high school in Rasht that according to statistics from the education of 5181 students that using Morgan table, a sample of 360 of students to sampling were randomly selected. Abedi creativity questionnaire to collect data, obsessive belief questionnaire (OBQ-44) and rumination scale Nolen Hoeksema and Morrow were used.For data analysis canonical correlation coefficient and regression analysis was performed using SPSS software.The results showed that the students' creativity with obsessive belief as well as significant negative correlation between creativity and rumination students thereand creativity can predict obsessive beliefs and rumination((The results showed that the students' creativity with beliefs obsession, as well as significant negative correlation between creativity and students there rumination and creativity can predict obsessive beliefs and rumination)).The results of this study, it seems that the creativity of the students have a higher level of obsessive beliefs and reduced rumination on them.Based on regression analysis, creativity construct 54 percent of the changes could explain the obsessive beliefs and rumination.
