Investigating factor structure, validity and reliability of the Persian form of AnxiousThoughts Inventory (AnTI), Thought Control Questionnaire (TCQ) and White Bear Suppression Inventory (WBSI) in the Clinical Population

The purpose of this research, Investigating factor structure, validity and reliability of the Persian form of Anxious Thoughts Inventory (AnTI), Thought Control Questionnaire (TCQ) and White Bear Suppression Inventory (WBSI) in the Clinical Population And preparing it as a mental health screening tool in the clinical population. In this descriptive study, 567 patients admitted to Razi Educational and Therapeutic Psychiatric Center were selected by convenience sampling And completed of Anxious Thoughts Inventory (AnTI), Thought Control Questionnaire (TCQ) and White Bear Suppression Inventory (WBSI). 525 of these people participated in the test-retest procedure after one month. The data analysis method was Cronbach's alpha test, retest and factor analysis. By analyzing the factors, 3 factors (meta-worry, social worry and health worry) in (AnTI), 5 factors (distraction, worry, social control, punishment and reappraisal) in (TCQ) And 1 factor (suppression of thought) in (WBSI) were extracted. The degree of internal consistency of factors questionnaires and And their retesting reliability at the level (P <0/001), it was desirable and satisfactory. The results of this study provide promising evidence about the applicability of the Persian version of the (AnTI), (TCQ) and (WBSI) Questionnaires in the Iranian clinical population.
