The Effect of Behavioral and Psychological Components in Promoting Traffic Safety with Emphasis on the Role of Police

Human behaviors in urban space contain various messages. The behavior of humans derives from factors such as motives, needs, mental contexts, and environmental capabilities. The environment and behavior are so intertwined that it is difficult to separate them. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of behavioral and psychological components on traffic safety enhancement, with an emphasis on the role of police in the railway. This research is a descriptive-analytical and field-based research that is carried out in the form of inference and extraction from the sources and statistical data. The statistical population of this study is drivers. Analysis of the results was done by statistical analysis and software analysis of spss. The findings of the research showed that the effects of behavioral and psychological components have an impact on the improvement of traffic safety. Based on the results of the statistical analysis of factor analysis, this satisfaction was categorized into four categories: mental health, aggression, personality and driving habits that explained 68.49% of the total variance. In this regard, the driver driving habits by explaining 20.25% of the total variance has been able to allocate the highest amount of variance to the first priority. Subsequently, the personality factor, which accounts for 19.63% of the total variance, was the next factor in aggressiveness that accounted for about 14.68% of the total variance. The results of the turning of the factors by the Varimax method show that the only variable that has been loaded with a factor load above 0.5% was the variables entered in the exploratory factor analysis, and were categorized separately in three factors.
