An introduction into the flora, life forms, geographical distribution, and plant protection status species (case study: Chaharbagh summer rangelands in Golestan Province)

Generally identified 184 plant species that belong to 37 families and 106 genus of plant. The largest plant families of the region in terms of number of species are: Poaceae with 33 species (17.93 Per.), Asteraceae with 31 species (16.84 Per.), Lamiaceae with 22 species (11.95 Per.) and Fabaceae with 19 species (10.32 Per.). The results also showed that life form consist of: Hemicryptophytes with 82 species (44.5 Per.), Theroghyte with 48 species (27 Per.), Chamoghyte with 28 species (15 Per.), Cheryptoghytes with 9 species (5 Per.), Geophytes with 9 species (5 Per.) and Phanerpphytes with 7 species (4 Per.). Reviews the geographical range of plant species, indicates overcoming of endemic species of Iran-Turan was higher than other plants. (57.6 Per.). Conservation status of plant species in the area showed that none of them are endangered species. One species (Ziziphora clinopodioides lam.) in the plants vulnerable groups (0.6 Per.), fourteen species (0.6 Per.)
