women's Hijab as a Component of the soft Power Security Enhancing Religious Sovereignty

Women’s covering ouit has always been menoned as one of the most important issues related to polical, cultural and economic issues of an Islamic society. In the field of sociology, Hijab is mostly observed as an issue related to the micro level of social communicaon realm; therefore, it has rarely been viewed as a general maer in a social macro level and as a so power, as well. The main queson of the present study is that: whether Hijab as an influenal components in Islamic sociees can be applied as the impulse of so power in the cultural sphere of these sociees? This paper addresses the issue of Hijab by considering it as the instuonalized noon of so power in Islamic polical culture. Hence, by applying a descripve- analycal method it reviews and refocuses on the components and principles of the necessity for Hijab and its impact on so power in Islamic culture. The research findings are as follows: 1. Hijab in its historical background has always been regarded as a symbol of the naonal and Islamic identy of women within ancient religions and ancient civilizaons; 2. Hijab as the embodiment of a disncve flag signifies an influenal role in demonstrang the intellectual and cultural independence of women in Islamic sociees. ; 3. In the history of Western colonialism craving for dominang Islamic sociees, Hijab is recognized as a stronghold fortress prevenng them from their objecve of dominang these sociees; hence they have always struggled against it to accomplish their goal of dominang these communies. ; 4. The socio-psychosocial funcons of Hijab such as maintaining and increasing the serenity and psychological health in the society along with preserving the foundaon of the family, have connuously played a significant role in maintaining the social and naonal security of the community.
