An analysis on Airport Location based on IKAO Standard Indicators (Case Study : Esfahan Shahyd Behshti International Airport)

Abstract:
The daily increasing of the numbers of passengers and the need of traveling by air and rapid changes in air transportation industry has arisen problems in location airports that need using a special knowledge and technology in building airports and aviation facilities.
Establishing airports and regarding its special conditions as having the necessary capacity space and being near the city needs special investing, surveying and studying its economical social ,political and ecological aspects environment ,also its geographical location and its geology and must be considered. The main aim of this survey is to analysis Esfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport, by using the field and analytical models (observation) and AHP model standard Civil Aviation Organization Indexes (ICAO ). The available consequences show that the location of this Airport has not been observed , due to the environment ecology and it nearness to the military air base.
